COVID-19 Salon Safety Policy
We are having to take extra precautions following government guidelines in the salon to minimise risks to our colleagues and clients.
We kindly request that you consider the health and safety of your
stylist, their families and colleagues.

Covid-19 Client Visit Guidance
Any client who is experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms will not be able to visit us.
Please let us know as soon as possible so we can re-arrange your appointment.

If you have any underlying health issues and/or are classed as high risk please follow Government guidance.

SOCIAL DISTANCING
Please wait outside until your stylist is ready for you.

You must keep a social distance of 2m from other clients and all team members, except the stylist you are booked in with.

Our team will be wearing appropriate PPE per government regulations.

Please DO NOT enter our salon if you have ANY symptoms of Corona Virus or have been in close contact with anyone who is experiencing symptoms or has now tested positive with the virus.

PLEASE ARRIVE ALONE

Please ensure that you do not bring any family members, including children or friends, to the salon during this time.

Our waiting area is currently closed.

Only one client will be permitted to enter the salon per staff member at their designated appointment time. Please only bring essential belongings with you.
WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU VISIT THE SALON
We ask that you arrive on time and wait outside for your appointment, adhering to social distancing rules.
If you are late for your appointment, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to continue with your service.

Your stylist will come to the door to welcome you and ask you to confirm you have administered your Covid-19 Rapid Test. There is plenty of seating in the atrium of the salon building where you can wait for your test to develop.

If you have a positive test reading, we will NOT be able to carry out your service.

On the confirmation of a negative reading, you will be asked to use use the hand sanitiser as you enter the salon unit.

We will take your temperature using an infrared thermometer. If you have a temperature of 38c or over we will NOT be able to carry out your service.

Please bring a large enough bag with you so you can keep your coat and other personal belongings away from others or leave non-essential items in your car.

Each station and all equipment will be fully disinfected before and after each client visit.

We are unable to offer refreshments or magazines at this time - you are welcome to bring your own. (Please take anything you bring with you when you leave).
PLEASE WEAR A FACE COVERING

All clients must wear a face covering to the salon and keep it on throughout their appointment.

All clients and children over 10 years of age must wear a face mask/covering throughout their visit.

Parents/Guardians accompanying a minor must also wear a mask at all times.

We welcome you to wear your own, but if you forget your own, disposable masks are available upon request for £1

You may be asked to unhook mask ear loops so we can cut and style around ears on short hair

CHILDREN
We are offering haircare services for all ages!

Children should ideally wear a face mask, though we understand this may not be possible for young children and toddlers therefore a face covering is optional for under 10year olds but please do wear one if possible.

Parents/Guardians who are accompanying a child over the age of 16 are advised to wait outside where possible.

If you would rather enter the salon with them, you are welcome to but you must wear a face covering and you must try to maintain a 2m distance from the stylist & other clients where possible

PLEASE PAY BY CARD
We kindly ask you to pay by card where possible, however, we are accepting cash.
What we will be doing for your safety:

Your stylist will be wearing appropriate PPE.

Your stylist will be working in one salon styling area only.

Client chairs will be 2m apart from other clients.

We will be allowing an extra 30minutes in between all clients to ensure we can thoroughly sterilize our tools and working areas between each client. We use a hospital-grade barbicide steriliser in our salon which is a Barbicide.

Each staff member will be working 1:1 with clients and we will not be taking any other bookings in-between

A freshly washed gown and towels will be provided per client.

Strict cleaning will be carried out at the end of each day, during the day as needed and between each client.

We are unable to offer refreshments or magazines at this time - you are welcome to bring your own. (Please take them with you when you leave).
