colour process
An essential step for creating the perfect colour each and every time is, to begin with a colour consultation & assessment... You let us know what you want, & we'll create a pathway on to deliver.
It's extremely important that your colourist is aware of everything you have done to your hair as certain treatments popular within the natural hair circles such as henna, indigo & popular curly hair hacks can alter the structure of your hair and can play a major role in the final result and success of your colour
At the start of each appointment after your first colour treatment with us, we review how your previous colour has worked, discuss your likes and dislikes, and look at how the colour has worn since your last salon visit.
What's the Difference Between Balayage, Ombre & Hair-Painting?
Ombré is the gradual lightening of hair, and is French for “shaded” or “shading.” The ombré hair colour transition typically starts darker at the roots and becomes lighter toward the ends of hair.
Unlike Balayage, ombre often requires the hair to be bleached, depending on how light you want your hair.
Balayage has softer, less noticeable regrowth lines than traditional highlights - the principal idea being less is more when creating soft, natural looks. ... Also, Balayage is a freehand technique as no bleaching, foil or Meche are used to create the highlights
Hair-Painting is a hair highlighting technique that involves using your hands to get natural looking highlights, It is sometimes referred to as palm painting.
The hair colour is painted onto the colourist’s (gloved) palms and then spread onto your strands in larger sections, leaving you with soft highlights that blend naturally into your hair
